Questions

What patients ask most

Is this an alternative to hormone replacement therapy?

This is a topical treatment containing estriol, a form of estrogen, applied to the skin to address visible and tactile skin changes associated with menopause. It is not a substitute for systemic hormone replacement therapy (HRT), but because it contains a hormone, you should discuss it with any provider managing your hormone therapy or other systemic treatments. Your clinician will review your current medications and provider-managed care during intake.

I'm getting acne for the first time in decades. Is this the right category?

If breakouts are the main concern, the Acne category may fit better - and your provider will tell you that during intake.

Will this help with hot flashes or other symptoms?

No, this is a skin treatment only. It's designed for the visible and tactile skin changes that come with the transition.
